Les Gants Blancs plot

Louise Traon's mother has been the editor of Manoel de Oliveira for 20 years. She travels with her mother to Portugal, where O Estranho Caso de Angélica (2010) is being finalized. She films the conversations with her mother and the slow manual labor in the editing room, reflects on De Oliviera's films and tries to formulate what film means to her. De Oliveira occasionally shuffles into the image and brings the past to life in poetically worded memories.
