Les Gangsters de la Finance plot

HSBC was founded in Hong Kong nearly a century and a half ago by Scottish traders linked to the opium trade. The bank has continued to thrive on the fringes of regulation. This documentary asks how this is possible. As it turns out, the bank has not only grown too big to fail, but has gained influence beyond the financial realm through close relationships with the British government.
