Le Spectre de Boko Haram plot

Since 2014, the terrorist organization Boko Haram has been carrying out attacks on the villages and inhabitants of Extrême-Nord, the northernmost region of Cameroon. This constant threat of violence has become part of everyday life. In her debut film, Cyrielle Raingou shows how a group of children create their own world amidst the dangers of armed conflict. One of them, the precocious, inquisitive and hard-working Falta, tries with all her might to come to terms with the death of her father, who was murdered in a terrorist attack. For her classmate Ibrahim (8) and his older brother Mohamad (11), their traumatic past hinders their youthful energy and innocence.
