Le Premier Cri plot

On March 29, 2006, a total eclipse of the sun plunges part of the Earth into darkness. Documentary maker Gilles De Maistre chooses this moment to explore the universe of birth. From the Siberian tundra to traditional Japan, from densely populated hospitals in Vietnam to a dolphinarium in Mexico, he follows mothers everywhere in the tense hours just before, during and after birth.
