La Sirène de Faso Fani plot

When the factory in Koudougou closed in 2001, hundreds of people lost their jobs. The result was a poverty-stricken existence for thousands. The city never recovered from this blow. Ten years after this economic and social catastrophe, a child from that other time returns to the city and factory of his childhood. He speaks with the former employees who have lost their income and pride, but who still believe that the cotton industry offers a future for the entire community.
