La Playa de los Enchaquirados plot

Sea fishing by day, running a modest beach bar by night, that's how Vicky spends her days in a windy coastal town in Ecuador. The silences, the emptiness, the meager fish yield: there is an air of unfulfilled desires around her life. Vicky belongs to a local trans community where gender and sexuality are not so strictly defined. She alternates the burly work at sea with feminine elegance in her private life.
