L'Assiette Sale plot

Documentary about intensive agriculture, department store chains and the pernicious consequences of their collaboration. The merciless price war that is being waged is killing many small producers, spoiling agricultural lands and dehumanizing the living and working conditions of foreign seasonal workers. Nevertheless, “decent” eating remains possible thanks to various alternatives that re-establish a social bond between “consumer' actors” and environmentally conscious producers.
