The Alhambra in Spanish Andalusia was built more than 800 years ago as a military fortress by the Nasrid dynasty, an Arab dynasty. Behind the austere walls of the fortress lie opulent palaces, patios, fountains and decorations. Using computer and drone images, discover what technical feats the Arab architects had to pull out of their hats to bring complexity and sublimity together in this palace-fortress, which is actually more of a small city.
