Koninkrijk der Schimmen plot

The point of departure for this film is the second commandment: 'Thou shalt not make graven images, nor bow down to them, nor serve them'. Visual artist Fiona Tan brings together a number of different photo collections in a film. She wonders what these sometimes mundane, sometimes well-known images mean to their owners and to herself. For example, we see the favorite photos of different people and the failed and discarded shots of amateur photographers.
