Kind van de Tijd plot

In this documentary, director Huibert van Wijk tells the story of his adopted brother Tim from Indonesia and his adoptive father Lex. Both have very different views on Tim's adoption in the 1970s and the conflict that arose between them as a result. Now that Tim wants to build a bond with his recently rediscovered Indonesian family, Huibert brings the adoptive father and son together. For the first time, they discuss the consequences that the adoption has had for everyone involved to this day.
