Kind in Twee Werelden plot
Documentary triptych about Jewish war foster children. These children, who for the most part lost their parents during the war, in many cases also remained in (mostly) Christian foster families after the liberation. The film brings five former war orphans back to their original environment and to the world in which they ended up as a result of war conditions. Two sisters, two brothers and a girl, now ranging in age from 51 to 62 years, tell of their experiences as a child in hiding and their problems with their dual identity in various locations in the Netherlands, Poland and Israel.
