Killing Time: Entre Deux Fronts plot

Nestled in the middle of the California desert, the small military town of Twentynine Palms is home to a massive naval base. Throughout the year it receives young men returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Between leave and training, they pass the time alone, between brothers in arms, or with their families in an environment particularly suggestive of the front they have just left. The banality of their life in this city reveals the difficulty of these men re-aligning themselves to a life from which they now feel alienated.
