Karun - The Longest River of Iran plot

On September 22, 1998, Iranian poet Hamid Hajizadeh and his nine-year-old son Karun, whose name symbolically refers to Iran's longest river, were brutally murdered in their home in Kerman. Based on the testimonies of survivors, the documentary attempts to sensitively reconstruct one of the many horrific, politically motivated events in Iran at the end of the last century. With detailed images of the objects in Hamid's study, the film takes us back to that fateful day.
