Kaputt plot
"Kaputt" is an animated documentary about Burg Hoheneck, the central women's prison in the former GDR. In addition to the detention conditions, forced labor and the use of products manufactured for export to the West are mainly discussed. Gabriele Stötzer from Erfurt and Birgit Willschütz from Berlin reminisce about their imprisonment in Hoheneck in original interview recordings.
