Jung (War) in the Land of the Mujaheddin plot
In this journalistic report, a surgeon and a war correspondent decide to join forces and set up a hospital in Afghanistan, a country that has been struggling with various wars for twenty years. After the Russians, the fundamentalist Taliban now have the community completely in their grip. The houses and schools are burned down, the sons are murdered on the battlefield, and almost everyone is starving. The women are beaten up in the street wearing sandals exposing their legs, leaving everyone terrified of failing to meet the Taliban's extremely strict requirements.
