John Cage: From Zero plot

Musical documentary about the renowned American composer John Cage. “From Zero” consists of five separate parts. Part 1, titled “Nineteen Questions”, contains a random interview with the composer. In part 2, the Ives Ensemble will perform the composition “Fourteen”. The third part, titled “Paying Attention,” experimentally reproduces a 1982 interview with John Cage. In part 4, “Overpopulation and Art”, Cage reads one of his last poems, accompanied by his composition Ryoanji. Finally, in “David Tudor”, the fifth and final movement, composer David Tudor discusses the work of his friend and colleague John Cage.
