Jiang Hu: Life on the Road plot

A group of Chinese farmers are touring the country with a tent. Tired of all the slogging, they decided to start something in show business one day. Now they run a traveling show where popular songs are sung and girls perform sexy dances. Usually their tent is located somewhere in the suburbs of the city. However, if they apply for a permit as usual, they will be asked to pitch their tent elsewhere. The national holiday is approaching and the Beijing 'health inspectorate' must ensure that the streets are kept clean. The spicy show disfigures the neighborhood in their eyes. Meanwhile, things aren't going too well.
