Jelte's Legacy plot

The documentary 'Jelte's Legacy' tells Jelte's story and shows what he accomplished in his short life. His parents, Sanne and Hein, know early on that Jelte will not live to be old and decide to pour as much love and life into his days as possible. Driven by their powerlessness over Jelte's illness, they try to give meaning to his life by taking action. But even that ultimately does not protect the family from the inevitable reality.
