Je Suis Annemarie Schwarzenbach plot

A biopic of Annemarie Schwarzenbach, a brilliant figure from the bohemian community of the 1920s. She was a talented writer, lesbian, drug addict, world traveler, androgynous, and—to the annoyance of her Nazi-loving mother—also an anti-fascist. To empathize with this symbolic and controversial figure, actors reenact scenes from her life, attempt to recreate her poses from photographs, and tell their own stories through the lens of her fascinating and ambiguous personality.
