Jan Wolkers Spreekt plot

Jan Wolkers flourished during his period in Amsterdam (1963-1977), but also overcame several crises. On the basis of his books and media appearances, he has contributed greatly to the myth-building around his person. Thanks to a large find of eighty audio reels (full of intimate conversations with key witnesses from Wolkers' life and work) and film reels in his archive on Texel, director Wim van der Aar has been able to make a new film about the popular writer.
