Inte Som Min Syster plot
On forced Muslim marriages and honor killings based on the story of the Syrian-Lebanese Kerkatli family. The traditionally Muslim Kerkatli family is of Syrian descent, but later moved to more modern Lebanon. The family has ten daughters and two sons. The eldest daughter Rim was seen as a 9-year-old in an earlier documentary by Leyla Assaf-Tengroth ("Freedom Gang"). This gave her a lot of attention and she was even allowed to go to school for a while. But when she was thirteen, her dreams for the future went up in smoke when her parents decided to marry her off to a cousin of her father's. Rim's younger sister Dalida decided that something like this would never happen to her.
