In spite of Darkness: A Spiritual Encounter with Auschwitz plot

An interfaith commemoration is held every November at the infamous Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps in Poland, where more than one million people, almost all of them European Jews, were exterminated by the Nazis. Why does one participate in such a retreat? How can anyone try to pray or meditate in such a place? Five participants, including a rabbi, an atheist and a Catholic priest, talk to each other about their own vulnerability and complicity, but with new strength, peace and a glimmer of hope.
