In Search of Bidesia plot

Bhojpuri is an Indian language belonging to Bihari, a group of closely related languages. The associated folk music in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, India, is dying out. This documentary connects the history of the migration of indentured laborers from these states with the last living musicians. They make sure that these songs of love and desire are not forgotten.
