In California plot

Monument to a tormented love, made by the young French filmmaker Charles Redon, who adores and films his girlfriend Mathilde Froustey – an ambitious professional ballerina. Mathilde eats, trains and sleeps, while Charles acts as her assistant. He is fascinated by her body and discipline. Until he discovers that she is constantly doing violence to her own body, after which he suddenly sees her with different eyes. She goes from an admirable dancer to a dance-obsessed woman with no compassion for her body.
