Il Était un Petit Navire plot

For Marion Hänsel, the film maker, a two-month stay in the hospital is the starting point for a remembrance journey. In voice-over she returns to 1949, to the stairs in her birthplace Marseille over which she walked to the waterfront as a child. From there she wanders through Antwerp, England, New York, Paris and other places where she was as a child, adolescent and adult.
