I Sogni del Lago Salato plot

Kazakhstan today is enjoying an economic revival that is no different from that of post-war Italy. The growth is 6%, mainly driven by the exploitation of oil and gas reserves, in which the Italian energy conglomerate ENI is the leader. Traveling between Aktau and Astana, from the oil-rich steppes to the ultramodern new capital, the film gives a voice to farmers, shepherds and young women whose lives are turned upside down by the arrival of the large multinationals.
