I'm Still Alive plot

I'm Still Alive tells the story of Jadwiga Kubis Waslicka (1919), an old Polish lady. Poverty, Catholicism, communism and fascism have chased her through Poland, Germany, England and the Netherlands. In old age she eventually returns to her Motherland. In Warsaw, her hometown, she struggles alone against the decay of her body. This hard life has warped her body. Nevertheless, there is an unexpected and unusual beauty in her everyday actions.
