"A world of voices with one thing in common."

Do you remember when you were 11? Australian filmmaker Genevieve Bailey traveled the world for six years to have conversations with 11-year-olds to create an insightful portrait of childhood. From an orphanage in India to the household of a single parent in urban Melbourne, to go swimming in Thailand from there. 'I Am Eleven' explores the lives and thoughts of children from around the world. The documentary interweaves deeply personal and sometimes hilarious portraits of young people who find themselves between childhood and the dawn of adolescence.
