Howard Fast - Histoire d'un Rouge plot

The film follows René Vautier during his wanderings between Africa and France. Vautier, a mythical film maker from the resistance, was condemned by the French government because his film 'Afrique 50' denounced French colonialism. For forty years he was persona non grata in his native country.
