Hikayat Hayat Tanah Bayah plot

West Java, in present-day Indonesia, was once a Sundanese kingdom that flourished for over nine centuries. Today, few traces of that glorious era remain. Situated in a geologically sensitive zone, the region has long been ravaged by nature's fury, with earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions destroying heritage and reducing the area to a "landscape of amnesia."
