The Catholic church in the Achterhoek village of Baak is in danger of disappearing; this loss weighs heavily on the inhabitants. The facilities there are disappearing rapidly due to the aging and shrinking population. In this film, makers Sabine Eijkholt and Marieke Spee want to reflect on the feelings of grief, sadness and nostalgia that the residents of the Achterhoekse Baak have to deal with.
