Het Hut Syndicaat plot
Every fall, free-spirited gastronome Ronald Timmermans takes a group of men (and a woman) out of their daily routine to go hunting in the Dutch countryside. They hunt small game on the Wieringermeerpolder, on farmers' grounds; hares and pigeons. They call themselves 'The Hut Syndicate', named after the hut in which they camp. It gives them a thrill to be part of nature and to hunt their own food, but regulations are increasingly getting in the way. Director Diego Gutiérrez spends a hunting season with 'The Hut Syndicate' and witnesses their desire to keep a disappearing world alive.
