Here One Day plot

When Kathy Leichter moves back to her parents' apartment after her mother Nina's suicide in 1995, she found stacks of cassette tapes spoken by Nina in a closet. Only sixteen years later does the documentary maker dare to open this treasure chest. On the tapes, her mother recounts all aspects of her life—from the challenges of her marriage to a Senator, to an argument with her son, whom she had been out of touch with for years, to her struggle with bipolar disorder.
