Herberg van het Geheugen plot

Since 1936 Kees Hin has emerged as one of the most prolific film makers in the Netherlands with a large and above all characteristic oeuvre, in which the boundaries between documentary and fiction, poetry and theater are often blurred. It is always about people, and about the wonderful capriciousness of life. Encounters, he simply calls it. This time he himself is the subject of such an encounter. Filmmaker Barbara den Uyl visits him in his office and takes him to the EYE depot in Vijfhuizen, where Hin's film rolls are stored.
