Hazman Havarod plot

How did Tel Aviv become the gay capital of the West? Why was it so important to Israel that Dana International won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998? Through rare archival material, interviews with individuals involved in front of and behind the scenes and his own personal diary, director Qedar tells the story of a pink revolution from the days of oppression and discrimination, through the struggle for equal rights to the formation of one identity. An emotional yet swinging journey through the 80s and 90s about people who initiated major changes and ensured that Tel Aviv transformed from a refuge into the 'Gay Capital' that the metropolis is today.
