Happy plot

Carolin's father, Dieter, has changed a lot over the past few years. After separating from his wife, Carolin's mother, he traveled to Thailand for a few weeks every year, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends - all over 60 and divorced. The father says he has the best time of his life there. “Happy” is a documentary about a father and his daughter, the search for happiness in the autumn years of life and the question of what love really is when you are over 60 and afraid of growing old alone.
