H2: The Occupation Lab plot
"How a one-kilometer long street in Hebron fuels the entire Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
About 250,000 Palestinians live in Hebron, the largest city in the West Bank. In their midst are eight hundred Jewish settlers. They live in a secluded part of the old city center, which is permanently guarded by the Israeli army. This part of the city, called H2, is also home to the Cave of the Patriarchs, a holy place for both Jews and Muslims. In this documentary, Noam Sheizaf and Idit Avrahami highlight the turbulent history of Hebron, which fell into Israeli hands during the 1967 Six-Day War.
