Good Evening to the People Living in the Camp plot
Refugees have controlled the news items for years, but who actually knows them? In this documentary, artist and filmmaker Joost Conijn sets out on a quest. In Greece, he works his way into a military-guarded camp at an abandoned airport through a hole in the fence. In France, outside the jungle of Calais, he waits with his newfound acquaintances in a dark field for the trucks to England. Conijn follows the residents of refugee camps – without an agenda, without a main character, without a preconceived plan. It's not about their misery, it's about their activities.
