Goal Dreams plot

The Palestinian national football team consists of players of different nationalities. The Austrian coach has the difficult task of preparing the team for the international match against Uzbekistan, which should give access to the World Cup. The film follows the team during the weeks leading up to this important game. There are many problems and the training seems doomed to fail but morale remains high. After all, this team is more than a football team: it is one of the few ways for the Palestinian people to express their identity and promote national unity and pride.
