Global Viral. Die Virus-Metapher plot

Viruses are considered unique abilities in an evolutionary context: they are persistent, mutable and flexible. Whether these are biological viruses, or those in the virtual world of computers. The documentary shows a cross-section of the history of viruses through the ages and highlights the impact of epidemics, data contamination, biological weapons and linguistic indoctrination. After all, the metaphor 'virus' has always been obsessed with its own social status.
