Frühjahr 48: Die Spaltung Europas plot

Documentary about the eventful spring of 1948, which would determine the future of Europe. In the spring of 1948, a series of landmark events deepens the rifts in Europe that arose in the aftermath of the Second World War. For example, in Czechoslovakia the communists come to power and the Yugoslav leader Tito and Josef Stalin come face to face with each other. One of the first major incidents of the Cold War takes place in Berlin, when the Soviet Union sets up a blockade in West Berlin that will last for almost a year. With Israel, a new nation sees the light of day.
