Free to Run plot
From the streets of New York to the trails of the Swiss Alps, from São Paulo to Paris, Beijing or Sydney, men and women, champions and amateurs... each year millions of people run. Whether it concerns prestigious and large-scale marathons or the neighbor who jogs through the park, running is fully established in our society. Less than fifty years ago it was completely different: walking was reserved for men, limited to stadiums and with strict, sometimes absurd rules. Using testimonials and archive footage, 'Free to Run' tells the story of running over the past 50 years.
