Flippogekte plot

They were frantically spared, exchanged and stolen from each other: the Flippos. Simple plastic discs printed with cartoon characters found in bags of chips. The popularity of the Flippo rose to unprecedented heights, and even made it to the News. Hundreds of millions of Flippos were distributed in the Netherlands. But this craze also came to an end. At least, for most people. Tom van der Zant talks in his documentary Flippogekte in Nederland with a boy who is still working on his collection of Flippo's and with Flippo king Hans Zandvliet, who brought the Flippo to the Netherlands and had a swimming pool full of it at home.
