Finding Phong plot

Phong, the youngest of six children, grew up in a small town in central Vietnam. From an early age, she considers herself a girl trapped in a boy's body. When she reaches Hanoi at the age of twenty to attend university, she discovers that she is not the only one experiencing this. Camera in hand, Phong decides to live in harmony with herself and begins a metamorphosis that leads her to face her family's fears, test the worth of her friends and then, as an adolescent, play the games of seduction and sexuality. The film accompanies Phong as close as possible to her final decision: should she undergo surgery for sexual alteration?
