FC Rwanda plot

Twenty years after the genocide, in which nearly a million Tutsis and moderate Hutus were murdered, ethnicity no longer plays a role in Rwanda. At least according to the government, which states that 98 percent of the population considers themselves Rwandan. The football field is the stage on which that reconciliation is made known. "We are not Hutus or Tutsis," declare the players of APR, the army's team, in the run-up to a big game against Rayon Sport, the people's team. But journalist Daniel Sabiiti tells a different story.
