Faits Divers plot

For three months in 1982, Raymond Depardon single-handedly followed 60 police officers from the fifth district of Paris on their daily night patrols. All sorts of things pass by: bums, drunkards and commoners, theft, rape and bleeding limbs. Without judgment, a reality is portrayed that just won't make the newspaper because the stories are too small. Like a cop who has to mediate in a rape report, conciliatory towards the man, authoritarian and condescending towards the woman.
