Egaro Mile plot

The singing of the Bauls (itinerant musicians) connects tradition with the present. This documentary guides the viewer into the world of various Bauls in Bengali speaking India and Bangladesh by exploring their music and everyday life. Rooted in Hinduism with elements of Sufism, Baul music is about love, desire and the struggle to find - and stay on - the path to enlightenment.
