On December 21, 2017, Catalonia decided its future in one of the most complex elections in modern democratic history. This documentary observes the candidates on their journey through Catalonia, and to Brussels. The makers even visit the prison of Estremant and give a picture of the elections: backstage during meetings, debate preparations and the private moments of the candidates during the campaign and on election night. With dozens of interviews with intellectuals, lawyers, politicians, journalists and citizens, each with their own sensitivities, the film tries to go beyond what the headlines tell.
