Donor Unknown plot
For the first time in history, a generation of children has been born by artificial insemination, old enough to start searching for their biological father. As a teenager, JoEllen Marsh learns that her father's name is Donor 150. His old application form states that he is a dancer with a philosophical background. Through Donor Sibling Registry she discovers that she has many half sisters and brothers thanks to this sperm donor. When she meets up with one of her half-sisters, it attracts the attention of The New York Times, which has a front-page article about it. Much to his surprise, 'Donor 150' reads about himself in a cafe and decides to contact some of his children. It is the beginning of the formation of a large, unusual family. Donor 150's name is Jeffrey and he lives in a RV in a parking lot off Venice Beach in Los Angeles.
