Der Landesverrat plot

During the First World War, two officers of the Swiss staff secretly passed on Russian diplomatic messages to the German army, after they had been translated by the intelligence service in Bern. This betrayal, the 'scandal of the colonels' was discovered by André Langie, a Lausanne native who is considered a decoding genius.
